My mum's Life Memories book is a really precious story of her life, told in her voice. I just wish we'd had the opportunity to do one with dad. Caroline has managed to capture events and put them together in such a easy to read way, and including photos with handwriting and family recipes is a lovely touch. The quality of the finished book is even better than I hoped, and I will always treasure it.

We think we know our parents and their lives. But really how much time was ever spent talking about their earlier life or their older relatives? Not much. We might hear snippets, but not necessarily the context. This book gave us this and the depth we would never have had otherwise. You took a whole load of rambling and created a coherent story that flowed beautifully with his life story. It was lovely to visit the places where my dad described where he grew up. Although I had been there before, when I revisited, I could imagine some of the stories such as the ¾ mile toboggan run. We might like to think we can all write a book about our father. But having been through the process and seen the result, there was no way we would have got anywhere close to it.

Caroline completed the Life Memories of my Father in Law. He had fun doing it and we really enjoyed the amazing book she produced. It was the reaction of the younger generation that surprised us. All ten of them loved it because they learnt so much about their grandparents, stories that otherwise would have been lost. A wonderful account of life to hand down the generations, so thank you very much Caroline!
